As part of our on-going commitment within the Cognitive Computing Continuum Cluster, Swarmchestrate actively participated in the joint webinar titled “Standardisation Activities in the Cognitive Computing Continuum” held on July 1st, 2025. This webinar was organised to showcase how the seven innovative projects, HYPER AI, INTEND, EMPYREAN, ENACT, MYRTUS, CoGNETs, and Swarmchestrate, are pushing the boundaries of swarm computing, AI-driven orchestration, and distributed machine learning, with a strong focus on:
⚙️ Autonomous and energy-efficient edge/cloud coordination
🔐 End-to-end security and trust
🔄 Interoperability based on open standards
🌍 Alignment with the European Partnership on AI, Data, and Robotics (ADRA)

Jay DesLauriers of the University of Westminster took part and presented the role of the Swarmchestrate project as an early adopter of OASIS Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications TOSCA v2.0, which could be used by other TOSCA adopters in the swarm computing space in the future.
